AFM Staff Serves on Habitat for Humanity Build

On Friday, May 12th, several AFM staff members took part in a Habitat for Humanity build. AFM has partnered with Habitat for Humanity on several different occasions, and we always find this to be a wonderful cause to support.

This particular day of service involved framing a new home for a family in Burlington. Our staff was almost successful in getting all four walls up before it was time to leave. An enjoyable time was had by the group, which included a couple of future Habitat for Humanity homeowners that worked alongside the AFM team.

AFM is honored to be able to help support residents in the communities in which we live and work.

Families who receive assistance through Habitat for Humanity are given the opportunity to purchase affordable homes. They are carefully vetted and must meet various requirements, such as taking homeownership courses and putting in many hours of work on their own homesite and other recipients’ projects.
